Now, it looks like the Sanrio Collaboration Pack will take the same shape as it did in Animal Crossing: New Leaf by allowing the villagers to visit the island resort. These Amiibo cards will bring all of the same Sanrio-inspired villagers to New Horizons: Rilla, Marty, Etoile, Chai, Chelsea, and Toby. Previously, players were able to scan the Sanrio Amiibo cards into New Horizonsvia Harvey's Island, but all it would bring were posters with Sanrio characters as decoration for the player's home. ![]() RELATED: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Reveals Festivale Update for January But now, identical Amiibo cards will be available shortly for Animal Crossing: New Horizons' North American players. ![]() Each Amiibo card brought one of six Sanrio-inspired villagers and their adorably themed RVs to the player's camp in New Leaf. These Amiibo cards were made available outside of Japan, but only for some areas such as the UK and never in the US. ![]() Sanrio characters were first introduced to Animal Crossing back during the New Leaf days with the Welcome Amiibo update. They were later made compatible with the mobile spinoff Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. The Animal Crossing Sanrio Villager Amiibo cards will be making their way to the United States for the first time, bringing the friendly cast of Sanrio villagers to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, similarly to how they visited players in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
